Join Dr Felicity Plunkett for an afternoon of poetic exploration that promises to stretch your imagination and maybe even your patience. You'll dive into a smorgasbord of poetic forms, tackling prompts that are as unique as your last attempt at making banana bread. Felicity, a poet, critic, and all-around word wizard, will guide you through the mysterious waters of what makes certain poems sing while others flop like a fish out of water.

As you craft your own verses, you'll get the chance to share your work-in-progress, which is basically a fancy way of saying you can show off what you've got and get some honest feedback. Plus, you'll learn a thing or two about polishing your poems until they shine bright enough to dazzle. So, come along ready to be inspired, excited, and perhaps a tad overwhelmed by the creative chaos that is the writing process. By the end of it all, you might just walk away with the first drafts of some truly spectacular new pieces.
