Get ready for a night of musical magic as Jerrah Patston brings his latest creation to life at the Blue Mountains Theatre. It's a chance to see this talented local hero perform his new album, Abandoned Cricket Games, in all its glory, alongside some of the tracks that made fans rally around him like kids chasing a wayward cricket ball. This album is Jerrah's third foray into full-length musical introspection, featuring gems like the title track, which reflects on those oh-so-disappointing sporting cancellations, plus earworms like Bagpipes In The Carpark and the cheeky Didn't Play Mull Of Kintyre after witnessing Paul McCartney in Newcastle. And let's not forget Springwood Library Construction's Going On, because who doesn't love a good library-themed jam?
So mark your calendars for Friday, August 15, 2025, at 7:30pm. Swing by the Blue Mountains Theatre in Springwood and prepare yourself for a delightful evening of storytelling through song. Grab your tickets for $32, or $27 if you've got a concession card handy. Just remember to bring it along, because no one wants to find out the hard way that a concession is more than just a deal on popcorn.
