As the weather in Australia keeps throwing more curveballs than a dodgy cricket pitch, it's probably a good idea to know what you're up against. That's where the EmergencyRedi Workshop by the Australian Red Cross steps in—think of it as your local crash course in handling everything from surprise storms to the sort of emergencies that usually make you wish you'd paid more attention in Year 9 geography. It's all about figuring out what risks are lurking nearby and picking up some handy tips to keep calm and carry on when things get a bit wild.

If you've ever fancied brushing up on the practical stuff, the mental side of coping, and how to look out for your neighbours without turning into a neighbourhood stalker, this workshop should do the trick.
