Step right up to "the Katoomba Suite," a delightful duo exhibition featuring the artistic talents of Nell Smith and Michael Shirley. This isn't your typical art show; think of it as a delightful stroll through Katoomba's urban and natural landscapes, minus the blisters. Between 2020 and 2024, these two have been snapping photos and doodling on their iPads, all in pursuit of the poetic hidden within the mundane, much like Baudelaire would have done if he had a smartphone and a good Wi-Fi connection.

Swing by Gallery NWC on Katoomba Street from 28th November to 9th December, where you can feast your eyes on their work for free—yes, free, like the Wi-Fi in a café. Open daily from 10 am to 4 pm, it's the perfect excuse to take a break from everyday life and get lost in some creativity. Just remember: if you bump into a koala on the way to the gallery, snap a selfie and send it to your mates; it's sure to be the highlight of their day.
