Calling all fans of spine-chilling stories and clever whodunits: it's time to channel your inner ghostbuster at Katoomba Library. Join the talented Antony Mann and the creative mastermind Miles Merrill for a ghost hunt extravaganza. You'll scour the library for any lingering spirits or, you know, random books, and piece together your very own ghost story set against the hauntingly beautiful backdrop of the Blue Mountains.

Speaking of spirits, Antony Mann's book, The Lost Ghosts of Lawson, introduces us to poor Lewin Fowler, who relocates from sunny Sydney to a small Blue Mountains town. Things take a turn for the awkward when he faces an unhelpful school start, his mum's questionable choice of piano teacher, and a serious lack of friends. Just when it seems like life couldn't get any weirder, he starts encountering the ghosts of Lawson. Perfect for kids aged 7 to 14, this free event invites you to let your imagination run wild—donations are welcome if you feel like giving a little something back. So come along on Saturday, 2 November 2024 at 2:00 pm and see what ghostly adventures await at 30 Parke Street, Katoomba.
