Join us for a night under the stars that's way cooler than scrolling through social media. Just a hop, skip, and a jump from the city, you'll find yourself on Dharug and Gundungurra land, where the only thing brighter than the stars is the knowledge of local astrophysicist Dr Dimitri Douchin. This isn't your average stargazing gig; we're adding a sprinkle of poetry to the cosmos, ideal for anyone who thinks Shakespeare could use a bit of celestial flair.
Get ready to kick things off soon after the sun says its goodbyes at Wentworth Falls. You'll be doing some naked-eye astronomy - don't worry, everyone's keeping their clothes on - while Dr Douchin shares tales of constellations that might just give you a new perspective on your own love life. And if that's not enough to get your telescope-loving heart racing, you'll get up close and personal with the Moon, planets, and the twinkliest star clusters and nebulae through a fancy telescope. Just remember to bring your best celestial puns when you show up at Murray Park on 2 November. It's going to be a stellar evening.
